camping....

while sitting in front of the campfire in the middle of the day this weekend, meditating on the flickering flames, the sweltering heat, the beauty of the great outdoors and half what listening to the beach boys playing in the back ground, i concluded that the moment would have been even more sweet had i been sharing it with you all. Mark and Doug would have been singing along with the 'boys', the kids would be screaming at the playground nearby, a few of us playing dutch blitz, some getting fishing tackel together..... My little dream was perfect!!!
My thoughts then went to..."why not?!?" Why couldn't we all try to get together once a summer to camp? To really camp...no torch trail, no fancy cabins. Yes, I know we all have busy lives but I also know that we LOVE when we get together!! So I propose that we should really try to start doing something like that(this summer wouldn't work i know...but next!!). All in favor say "I"! :o)
