the fellowship

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near! (Heb 10:25) The purpose of this blog is to give the NBI class of 96-99 another avenue in which to keep up to date, bless, encouarge and pray for one another. May God use it as He will!

IT'S A BOY!!!

Ben and Sarah have some wonderful news!!! As many of you know, they have been in the adoption process for quite some time and have been waiting for a phone call to tell them they were going to be parents. Well, that phone call came this week and a healthy happy baby boy was born in Chicago on Ben's Birthday, February 26th. They are heading to Chicago this weekend to pick up their new little bundle and would appreciate prayer support in this endeavour.

Here is an exerpt from their website:

Elijah Benjamin
The papers are signed! We’re going to pick up our son!
Sarah and I are rushing to get things in order so we can go to Chicago. We’ll be there by Sunday or Monday.
Before the baby is actually ours, we need to fly down, sign papers, pick up the baby, do lawyer stuff in court to obtain custody and apply for his passport.
Of course, we need to buy some more diapers, and enjoy the last few nights of uninterrupted sleep (which isn’t easy to do, due to excitement and stress levels). ...he is a healthy boy (he weighed in at 8lbs. 8oz.)
Thanks for your prayers…
Ben and Sarah

We celebrate with them and pray that God will protect their journey, both to Chicago, and the new journey they take together as they become parents.

We love you sooooo much Ben and Sarah!
